Refund and Returns Policy for Crossbow Shop Canada
At Crossbow Shop Canada, we’re committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes a product may not be exactly what you expected, or issues may arise. This policy outlines our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges to make the process as straightforward as possible.
1. Our Commitment to Your Satisfaction
Your enjoyment of crossbow sports is our priority. If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase from Crossbow Shop Canada, we’re here to help. Please read our policy carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days from the date you received your item.
- Condition: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. All original components, manuals, and accessories must be included.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase from Crossbow Shop Canada is required.
Non-Returnable Items:
Certain types of items can’t be returned for safety, hygiene, or legal reasons. These include:
- Used or assembled crossbows, arrows, bolts, or broadheads.
- Any item not in its original, sealed packaging (if applicable).
- Gift cards.
- Clearance or “final sale” items.
- Custom-ordered or personalized products.
- Any item that has been demonstrably used or damaged by the customer.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at Sales@crossbowshop.com.ca within the 30-day return window.
- Provide Information: In your email, please include:
- Your order number.
- The item(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return.
- Photos/videos if the item is damaged or defective.
- Receive RMA: Our team will review your request and, if eligible, issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide detailed return shipping instructions. Do NOT send your item back without an RMA number, as it won’t be accepted.
4. Return Shipping
- Cost: You’ll be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is determined to be defective or damaged upon arrival.
- Method: We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.
- Packaging: Please ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected by our team, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we’ve received your returned item. We’ll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7-10 business days depending on your bank or payment processor.
- Original Shipping Costs: Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the item was defective or incorrect due to our error.
- Partial Refunds: In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted (at our sole discretion), such as for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
6. Exchanges
We generally handle exchanges as a two-step process:
- Return: Follow the return process outlined in Section 3 to return the original item for a refund.
- New Order: Place a new order for the desired item on our website.
This ensures you receive the correct item faster and simplifies inventory management.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or is defective, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at Sales@crossbowshop.com.ca.
- Please provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the damage or defect.
- We’ll assess the situation and, if confirmed, arrange for a replacement or a full refund, and cover the return shipping costs for the damaged/defective item.
- Don’t attempt to repair the item yourself, as this may void its eligibility for return or warranty claim.
8. Order Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order as long as it hasn’t yet been processed for shipping. Please contact us as soon as possible at Sales@crossbowshop.com.ca with your order number. If the order has already shipped, you’ll need to follow our standard return policy.
9. Manufacturer’s Warranty
Many of our crossbows and accessories come with a manufacturer’s warranty. For specific warranty claims or issues beyond our return policy timeframe, please refer to the documentation included with your product or contact the manufacturer directly. We’re happy to assist in facilitating contact where possible.
